The Driftwood is a busy coastal cafe, with a strong tourist summer season, and quiet local following in the winter.

We are looking for a part time Cook to join our team 3-4 days per week. Someone with a passion for good quality food, and yet can still keep up at pace.

The right candidate must have a strong grasp of the basics of cooking, and able to work in a team environment.

We are a small close knit team and as such this is an all-rounder position, duties include, but are not limited to:-

* set up of kitchen in the morning

* prep work - following Driftwood recipes and standards

* service cooking - following Driftwood service protocols, so all dishes go out to the same standard

* dish washing - during service keeping up with dishes is essential

* ordering and stock rotation

* clean up and pack down of kitchen

2 years experience in a cafe environment or similar, is essential and they must be available to work both days over the weekend.

Live and work in one of the most sought after towns on the Bellarine.
